John and Sharon Williamson have been Assembly of God US Missionaries since 1996. As Sports Chaplains at the collegiate level, they have ministered at the University of Arkansas, Arizona State University and Oklahoma State University. In May, 2006 John and Sharon have received new appointment through US Missions Chaplaincy Department as the first appointed Sports Chaplains in the Assemblies of God. The Williamson's are spreading the Gospel through their platform of athletics regionally, nationally and internationally through bible studies, sports chapels, school and prison outreaches. John and Sharon are both gifted and anointed speakers and are available to speak in churches, youth events, men's and women's groups, public schools, and other motivational settings. Each speaker has a powerful testimony about their connection with God and athletics. The Williamson's are former Arkansas Razorback athletes. John played in two Cotton Bowls (88-89) and the Independence Bowl (1991). Sharon was a four time All-American sprinter/hurdler and heptathelete (89-91). As former athletes the Williamson's continue to use the platform of athletics to share the Gospel. Currently the Williamson's reside in Corinth, Texas with their 3 children, Joseph, Benjamin and Emmalee.
